This is it folks, the new PHP 5.3 Beta is set to be released today!
January 20th or 22nd – beta 1 (freeze for non packaging/build fixes 2-3 days before, packaging one day before release)
Why is it so exciting? Well, besides of new functions and tweaks, it will offer up to 30% more performance than PHP 5.2
