Worst Wordpress “Features”
May 22, 2008
If your host disables phpversion and php_sapi_name functions for security reasons, it says:
Warning: phpversion() has been disabled for security reasons in /home/public_html/wp-settings.php on line 98
Your server is running PHP version but WordPress requires at least 4.3.
And nothing loads. Useless check on already installed blog.
When posting:
Warning: php_sapi_name() has been disabled for security reasons in /home/public_html/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 687
Why would anyone use those functions on already installed blog anyway? Of course, it could warn, but *do nothing*… Come on.
